Leading Religious Studies and Personal development in an academy can be a challenge, from covering all the curriculum requirements to supporting non-specialist teachers, it is a daunting role.

These sessions are aimed primarily at new to the role leaders but all are welcome to attend and refresh their understanding.

The sessions will give you an overview of the challenges and joys of leading a unique subject and leave you with the tools and confidence to go forward and develop the provision in your academy. Sessions include:

• Understanding the Curriculum Requirements

• Engaging with Stakeholders

• Supporting non-specialist teachers

Sessions:

All sessions will take place from 4.00pm - 6.00pm via Google Meet on the following dates:

• Session 1 - Monday 25th September 2023 - 3pm - 4pm

• Session 2 - Monday 15th January 2024

• Session 3 - Monday 3rd June 2024
