The aims of the course are:
To better understand the roles and responsibilities of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
To provide information and source documentation for the legislative and good practice requirements for safeguarding children
Give clarity around what safeguarding arrangements should be in place to keep children safe
To understand what to do if safeguarding concerns are raised and how you can support staff to recognise these
Have the opportunity to reflect on current practice and make changes to better safeguard children and young people

In regards to the Level, it’s aimed at those with safeguarding lead responsibilities, at level 3-4.
Places cost £65 per person
If you are unable to attend an event the following charges will apply:
Less than 7 days prior to the event - 100% charge
Less than 14 days prior to the event - 75% charge
Less than 28 days prior to the event - 50% charge
Cancellation more than 28 days prior to the event will be refundable. If you are able to send another colleague in your place, we will transfer the booking to a colleague with no administration charge.
Please note that all prices quoted exclude VAT, which will be applied at 20%
